We are hiring! From April to September every year CK Corporation is seeking full, and part time, Captain Kool Ice Cream truck lease drivers. Our fleet of neighborhood ice cream trucks are all inspected and licensed to operate in Metro Detroit cities 7 days a week, as well as at many Metro Detroit area special events.
As a Captain Kool Ice Cream Truck driver you’ll earn money participating in hundreds of Ice Cream special events taking place annually in Metro Detroit. Everyone loves ice cream and you can have fun while earning real money spreading some goodwill Each truck has a specific route so commercial business drive-by sales add to your earnings.
Our available routes are in suburban Eastside Detroit area cities. Perfect for Military veterans, house wives, school teachers and others seeking a no pressure job driving slowly down the safest streets in the Metro Detroit area.
Truck Driver Job Qualifications:
- You must be 18 years of age.
- You must have a current Michigan drivers license
- You must have a clean driving record.

All Captain Kool Trucks have efficient Cold plate freezers and have the required safety signage and equipment, to pass the local city permit requirements. This makes dollars and sense when comparing total ownership costs. After 30 years of running 20+ trucks on local routes we refuse to sell you anything, from ice cream to used trucks we personally wouldn’t use ourselves.
